Known as the 'Barsden House' and built in the early 1900's this property is a place of historical importance for the City of Cottesloe. Overlooking the Seaview golf course and the beaches of Cottesloe, the owners of this property had a vision to rejuvenate and extend the already ample surroundings into a modern functional house while still maintaining the charm of its architecture.
Three master bedrooms with dedicated en-suites were added. The existing living room was doubled in size. An extensive gourmet kitchen and walk-in pantry developed including a fully serviced and extensive below ground cellar.
Property Genesis worked closely with the City of Cottesloe and heritage council representatives to ensure the concept embraced and respected the historical importance this property brings to the area while still enabling the owners to produce a functional and vibrant house for their family.
The building works are currently underway and expected to be completed late February 2010. Stay tune for the 'After' photo's
