etc. All these things to us are our standard not an exception. These

are automatic otherwise we would not be professional architects.

As professional architects we focus on your project to find the solution that fits your vision. A successful project to us is one that has achieved a harmonious balance of all the forces at play for that project. Solving this puzzle is what drives us.

The Puzzle challenge.

Its late on a Friday afternoon. The phones have stopped ringing. Our office managers a frantically finishing the last remaining chores. We all begin to gather around and talk about the week just past. Favourite drink in hand. The chatter isn't about the weekend adventures we are about to enjoy, it is about the challenges we discovered and the solutions being created for the projects we are working on. We usually end up gathering around a colleagues workstation playing around with the latest 3D model being developed. Spinning it around, pulling it apart, commenting on its effectiveness.  

Solving the puzzle becomes an infatuation.  It consumes us.

Solving the puzzle however, is not enough. The satisfaction our passion craves comes from watching the vision we pictured in our minds eye, every corner, every detail, every material, every single angle we have come to know so intimately .....grow from the ground. This sense of achievement is what keeps us looking for the next puzzle to solve.

We see your building as a living thing. It's internal structure forming the skeletal frame.It's mechanical systems the lungs. It's electrical pathways the nervous system. It's hydraulics the vascular system. It's external lining the protective skin. It's occupants the life and soul.

Our expertise can be used to create many forms of architecture. We choose to use these skills for architecture that is part of peoples positive life experiences. Being on vacation is a time of laughter, adventure and being spoilt. Hotels and resorts are a pivotal part of this experience.The knowledge that many peoples vacations are enhanced by the facilities we helped create gives us a warm feeling inside.

We love our toys

Part of our natural skills is the ability to close our eyes and mentally visualise your perfect building. In our minds eye we often fly through the hallways and rooms as if ghosts in the night. Communicating this to our clients hasn't always been easy. However,the last ten years has seen 3D computer technology explode in its capacity and ability to communicate what we see. We are constantly developing and upgrading our computer networks to take advantage of current technologies including state of the art BIM (Building Information Modelling) software.

We don't know where we will end up.

Pursuing an architectural language and applying it to every building we create seems to us a far to restrictive way of solving the challenges specific to your vision. There is no point trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. It's not about us! Your vision is unique to you and your goals. When we start the journey with you to create the perfect building the results are unknown. We are not a production line of standard details and solutions. This sense of discovery for us is exciting and keeps our creative juices flowing.
